The Hautes-Pyrénées is an area of outstanding natural beauty with some of the highest peaks in the Pyrénées range of mountains.  All walks follow mountain paths where you will see (according to the time of year) wild flowers in abundance, birds of prey, vultures and often marmots.  And sitting by a mountain stream is a great place for a picnic and chance to take in your surroundings.

A short ride to the start of the day’s walk which can be tailored to suit your fitness level, We can guide your way or provide you with the route maps.  Suggested hikes, weather and ground condition permitting, are:

  • Pic du Midi from Col du Tourmalet
  • Montaigu from the Lesponne valley
  • Breche de Roland from form Col des Espécieres

The above are full day activities, if you are looking for a half day or something less energetic there are many more routes and quite a few can be started from Pyrenees Motorcycle Tours – Relais des Motards farm house.  For a taster have a look at the blogs that have been written on Walking in the Pyrenees.
